My client wanted a design to colour match the fireplace in their lounge. The cognac and red combination is stunning and perfectly suited in this Edwardian property. The preparation work was quite extensive as a poorly installed front door sill was allowing water to enter the property over time and causing rot to the wall plate/joists below. After stripping the old floor back and replacing the wall plate and joist with extra supports we could then move onto the exciting new floor tiles and another period hallway bought back to life!
